Scale and Balance

Miller Instruments can calibrate both scales and balances within our SCC scope of accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and NRC CLAS certification. Regardless of where the calibration is carried out, in our lab or on site, adjustments are usually possible. Adjustments to the scale or balance is recommended when the absolute difference between the reading of the device under test and the applied load is greater than two times the instrument’s resolution.

Our calibration capability for scales range up to 227kg and for balances the range is up to 9kg.
