Dimensional

Our interferometer is maintained in our temperature controlled clean room at 20°C ±0.25°C is the foundation of our dimensional measurement system. Measurements taken with the interferometer are compared against our reference gauge blocks which then enable us to generate measurements with measurement uncertainties that match the best uncertainties available in the marketplace.

All dimensional measurements are carried out at 20°C in our environmentally controlled clean room which is held at 20°C ± 0.25°C which is the standard temperature for dimensional calibration. Interestingly, the standard temperature for electrical calibrations is 23°C

Our complete accredited scope in temperature may be found on National Research Council’s CLAS website: scope >
