Miller Instruments Ltd. provides repair, calibration and instrument support services to customers that demand the best. Our original (1974) focus was on electrical measurements but has since grown to include temperature, pressure, force, mass and dimensional calibration. We joined the elite group of Canadian calibration laboratories, termed the Canadian Calibration Network (CCN), in 1994 when we were CLAS (Calibration Laboratory Assessment Service) certified by The National Research Council of Canada and accredited to ISO 17025 by The Standards Council of Canada. Our scope of accreditation may be viewed through the link CLAS LAB. A benefit of our  accreditation status that we pass on to our customers is the traceability and recognition of our calibrations.

Temperature Calibrations:

Our temperature calibration capability is from -196°C to 660°C all of which are ISO/IEC 17025 compliant.  The capability is supported by liquid baths, fixed points, standard platinum  resistance thermometers and various meters.

Pressure Calibrations:

Our pneumatic pressure calibration capability is from 0 to 1,000 psia and hydraulic pressure calibration capability is from 0 to 16,000 psig all of which are ISO/IEC 17025 compliant.  The capability is supported by various dead weight testers, meters, transducers and controllers.

Dimensional Calibrations:

Our dimensional calibration capability is from 0.1 to 12 inches all of which are ISO/IEC 17025 compliant. This capability is achieved with various gauge blocks and a laser interferometer allowing measurement uncertainties within a few micro inches. We are able to calibrate blocks, rings, plugs, threads, calipers and micrometers.

Electrical Calibrations:

Our ISO 17025 compliant. electrical calibration capabilities range from AC/DC Voltage up to 10 kV, AC/DC current up to 500 A, resistance up to 1 Gohms, capacitance up to 110 mF and Power up to 2400 W. The capabilities are supported by a collection of high end state of the art instruments that either measure or generate.

Time and Frequency Calibrations:

Our atomic rubidium frequency standard enable us to support calibration work on instruments ranging from high end frequency counters down to stopwatches.

pH & Conductivity Calibrations:

pH and conductivity calibrations
